Altrusa International, Inc. of Reading-Berks, PA is a volunteer organization of business and professional people united in service, personal development and fellowship. Working together, members volunteer their energies and expertise in a wide variety of community projects. Many projects focus on literacy.

The local club is the keystone of Altrusa International, Inc. Service to others in our community is the essential foundation of Altrusa. Altrusa International, Inc. of Reading-Berks, PA was organized in May of 1940, and chartered on June 14, 1943.
